Sophos Anti-Virus Appoints New Director of Sales
David Higgins to drive Sophos's sales strategies in Australia and New Zealand
Sophos Anti-Virus, a global leader in anti-virus protection for businesses, has appointed David Higgins as Director of Sales, Australia and New Zealand.
Based at Sophos's Sydney head office, he will be responsible for driving Sophos's customer acquisition strategy, increasing market share, developing brand awareness and extending the portfolio of channel partners in the region.
Higgins has 30 years IT industry experience, the majority in sales and marketing roles. Most recently, he was with Tech Pacific as Category Manager, Networking and Communications. Prior to that he was General Manager of Sales for Epson Australia, where he was part of a sales team which successfully launched EPSON into the very competitive colour inkjet printer market growing their market share to over 25% within 3 years.
