Sophos Strengthens Distribution Network in Hong Kong

Sophos Anti-Virus partners with leading security solution resellers to deliver corporate anti-virus solution

Hong Kong - Sophos Anti-Virus, a world leader in corporate anti-virus protection, has announced partnerships with two leading resellers in Hong Kong to distribute Sophos's award-winning product suite. This is part of the company's global channel strategy to strengthen Sophos's channel position, and to address the demand for highly effective security solutions in Hong Kong.

Sophos's two new resellers in Hong Kong are Yui Kee Computing Ltd., and Linux Center (HK) Ltd., who are both well-established distributors in the territory.

Sophos's entry in the Hong Kong market comes at a time when companies throughout the region are demanding ever-more responsive anti-virus solutions to combat an increasing amount of computer-related attacks. According to a recent survey conducted by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), the total number of PCs infected by a computer virus or worm has risen 13.3% over last year.
